The triumph of superficiality

Don't kid ourselves: modern cinema has a shortage of originality. When you watch new Spiderman movies, you're assailed by the nostalgia of the old ones. It isn't the case for television series: The Orville is much more entertaining than Star Trek in my very honest opinion. Why original TV series are released annually while cinema is clinged to comics? The type of movies i tolerate are comedy because i don't give a fuck about posing as spin doctor. Comedies are the lowest level, according to The Fairy Oddparents' Trixie. I don't know what message the authors were trying to convey but i oppose it without ifs and buts. In Italy we have the «cinepanettone», an italian neologism that indicates movies released during the Christmas time, which had its boom in the 2000s thanks to Massimo Boldi and Christian De Sica (Natale In India is one of my favourites). Suxbad is iconic among the youths, maybe too much.
Speaking of comics, the controversy of these days is if Amber Heard is to be or not to be removed from Aquaman2. And i though the most pressing issue was Jason Momoa being excluded due to his activism. So Heard was an abusive wife? Her place isn't out of Aquaman 2 but in a jail. Violence on men is a thing, dear ladies. Johnny Depp's career went down the drain. A woman claims beatings: believed instantly; a man claims beatings: meh. Nice "equality".
We need to speak about the Oscars because a miracle happened: the man who has been mocked for never winning one acting, Brad Pitt, has finally won it. His memes count is still larger but it's better having 1 than none. Your turn, Jim Carrey. If you analyze the voting, it tends to concentrate to an handful of movies. The process of how voters are chosen lacks coherence and if they have seen all the nominated movies lacks transparency. They tend to superficially select for fame, living independent filmmakers off the window. I haven't seen Once Upon A Time In Hollywood so this in theory doesn't qualify me for being a voter. Outfits are dope but i have to say something not politically correct: your being LGBT (i don't judge you) doesn't make more grateful the sight of outfits more suited for the Carnival in Rio De Janeiro Carnival or the Gay Pride. Originality but not exhibitionism. Look how were fashion the ladies (except Kristen Wiig's accordion).
By the way, the only Oscars i'm actually interested is of porn. In everything i post there's always a verse of positivity. Are you searching for the job of your life but the only one you find is to complete delivery runs in Animal Crossing? Uncle M.A.D is here advertising the best job ever: the stunt double.
